    The retractable point is nice, but it is too short to allow for leaning/tilting the compass to draw circles properly -- holding the compass vertically can cause the pencil to chatter, but angling it forward fixes that. The leg construction makes it very difficult to see the center point.
    I like the idea of the locking part, but it sticks and is hard to adjust. Overall, the price is right, but there are enough frustrating features that I am still looking for the perfect compass.
