Description
Great for supporting the development of number sense, rekenreks are visual models that encourage students to subitize, think of numbers in groups, strengthen counting proficiency, develop addition and subtraction strategies, and gain a better understanding of number relationships.
Use the Two-Bar Demonstration Rekenrek to teach numbers up to 20. This wooden unit features 2 metal bars, each with 5 red beads and 5 white beads. Includes a removable write-on/wipe-off board the can be attached to the right side of the rekenrek. Use the board to write equations or to block out beads from students' view.
Rekenrek measures 24 1/2" L x 4 5/8" H x 4" W when the blocking board is in place. The blocking board measures 12 5/8"L x 4 5/8" H. The beads have a diameter of 1".
