Equation Tiles

Equation Tiles are comprised of 282 double-sided pieces with numbers, operations, grouping symbols, equal signs, and inequality symbols that help students demonstrate a better understanding of numerical and variable expressions and sentences. Each tile has the same character printed in black on one side and red on the reverse. You can choose to use the red side to denote negative values, or to differentiate between separate problems being solved.

Students will enjoy the hands-on experiences as they gain confidence in dealing with numerical and algebraic thinking.These tiles are great for individual, small group, and whole group settings. Each set includes suggested activities that are easily tied to NCTM Standards under the Expectations for Grades 3-5 and 6-8 for Number and Operations and Algebra. Includes a total of 282 pieces plus a guide packed in a jar.
