Foil cupcake liners are a fantastic, affordable, everyday item that can be used in a variety of science experiments. As opposed to traditional paper, foil allows these liners to conduct heat, hold heat, and reflect light.
The foil also makes the cups waterproof, allowing for a variety of sink or float buoyancy experiments. Students can design their own 'boat' to see how surface area and weight distribution affect floatation.
Ready for geology? Bake cupcakes using different color batter to represent each layer of the earth and have students perform a 'core sampling' using a straw!
Each foil cup measures 2" in diameter (5cm). Includes 24 foil cupcake liners.
