Description
Model fractional parts within and beyond one whole. This set of connecting cubes helps to promote the understanding of relationships between fractional parts, and the relationship between numerical fraction and the fractional name. Each cube is imprinted with the numerical fraction on two sides to allow for students to work vertically or horizontally. The third side is imprinted with the fraction word, and the fourth side is blank. Includes one whole, four 1/2 pieces, eight 1/4 pieces, and sixteen 1/8 pieces, plus three 1/3 pieces, and six 1/6 pieces. Includes lesson ideas. The one whole piece measures 4 3/4"H. 38 pieces total in each set. Includes 15 sets.
