Coupon FAQ

Your coupons and promotional codes can be redeemed easily online! During check out, you will have two opportunities to apply your coupon. The first chance is while viewing your Shopping Cart. The second is on the 'Shipping & Payment' screen prior to entering payment information. Enter the code exactly as it appears on your coupon in the field provided and click “Apply Code.” Examples of the boxes are shown below.

I entered my coupon code and clicked “Apply Code”, but why is my order total not changing?

Double check that you have entered the code correctly, and that the offer has not expired. Some products are excluded from discounts, promotions, or free shipping offers. Check the terms and conditions of your coupon to make sure your cart contains the products valid for that offer. You are able to see your final total on the Ship & Pay screen before you enter payment information, and again on the Review screen before submitting your order.

What items are excluded from coupon promotions?

Coupons do not apply to sale and clearance items, calculators and peripherals, CBLs, CBRs, Navigator™ systems, stopwatches, timers, overhead projectors, Texas Instruments® software, select electronics, batteries, drop-shipped items, furniture, carpets, and select storage containers. For questions regarding excluded items, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-770-8010.

What if my order contains a mix of excluded and non-excluded items?

Not a problem! Just make sure the total dollar amount of non-excluded, regular priced items on your order equals the total dollar amount needed to redeem your coupon. The discount will only apply to non-excluded items. However, you may purchase everything together for your convenience.

Can I use my coupon for items that are on sale?

Most coupons and offers cannot be applied to sale or clearance items. Only one discount code may be applied per order.

Can I use my coupon in conjunction with EAI’s “Free shipping on internet orders over $99.00” offer?

Yes! Discount coupons are applied first during checkout. If your order total is still over $99.00 after the coupon discount is taken, you will qualify for free shipping. (Drop ship items and oversize storage containers are excluded from free shipping. See our Shipping & Handling page for full details and exceptions.)

What if I have a free shipping code? Can I combine it with my coupon?

Promotional codes for free shipping on orders less than $99.00 may not be combined with other coupons. If you have more than one code, please select and apply the code that helps you save the most!

Can I use a coupon on a Purchase Order?

Yes, you can! If you are submitting a purchase order online, please follow the above instructions for entering your coupon code. If you are submitting a purchase order via mail or fax, please be sure to mention the coupon code and include the coupon with your paperwork if you have a physical coupon. Purchase orders that do not mention a coupon code or offer will be invoiced at full retail value.

I have a bid/quote/contract number, can I also use my coupon?

EAI Education offers competitive pricing on all bids, quotes, and contracts. Unfortunately coupons may not be used in conjunction with these, or any other discounts, sales, or promotions.

Can I use my coupon more than once?

Each coupon may only be used once per account. Resale and wholesale customers are prohibited from using coupons. EAI Education reserves the right to refuse orders of anyone found in violation of our coupon policies.

How long do I have to redeem my coupon?

Orders must be placed by the expiration date that is printed on each coupon, or that is published with each offer. EAI Education reserves the right to end its coupon program at any time and without notice.
